What is Podiatry?
Quite simply, podiatry is the diagnosis and treatment of the foot. Podiatrists and Chiropodists are part of the same profession, in the UK and Ireland the titles are interchangeable.
However, Podiatry is the internationally recognised, professional qualification needed to deliver all aspects of foot care. This involves the higher academic training and advanced skills needed to deliver the quality of care our patients at Body and Sole expect and deserve.

Across all age groups, at some point everyone is likely to encounter foot or lower limb conditions that our professional, knowledgeable and approachable Belfast podiatry team (Duncan and Ceara) can advise on and treat appropriately: From age 8 to 80, or indeed a little less or a little more, walker, hiker, runner, recreational sports person, professional sports person.
